LOVE YOU GUYS!

The plants came today..........they look great! I've received numerous plant orders via on line and yours arrived looking like they fully intend to GROW!  Not at all ragged out and messed up-they looked happy. (yes, I'm a little weird...LOL!)

It's evident that this company CARES about it's plants before-and after delivery.  The wonderful instruction sheets were a breath of fresh air....so detailed from beginning to end.  I want my plants to have the very best chance for survival and I feel pretty good about their chances when given such great directions.

And the fact that you actually also include the growing medium and pots that work  BEST FOR THE PLANTS says much about how you/this company.

Glad I found you guys!

Best~

I'd hate to blame the plant for its untimely end, as I also need to take responsibility for its care. The plant arrived safe, packaged well, and as healthy as to be expected. It was set in long fiber sphagnum moss without any additives, and set on the windowsill of our sunroom. The instructions called for direct sunlight so it was placed in a window facing the South to catch the morning and afternoon light, directly beneath my Nepenthes Alata, but angled to get more sunlight. The plastic planter provided was placed on a shallow saucer, and the moss was watered every three days to keep the sphagnum from drying. It never recovered from its shipped state. The larger pots started drying and collapsing within 2 weeks. We moved the planter into a tiny ceramic pot to help retain more hydration and placed a stone underneath to keep it high enough to barely touch the water level. The new growth started dying before we moved it out of the sunroom. We placed it in a cooler room near a window that didn't allow as much light, but it never bounced back. The whole plant dried up and died in wet moss within the month. I'll have to make adjustments next time, but this plant just didn't work out in our sunroom.

At the time of writing this, our "Monkey Pot" is 1 year and 4 months old. The plant looked sickly at first, but it recovered within 2 weeks and started developing pots fast. Winter was tricky, as finding a warm spot that could maintain humidity is difficult in our house, but it survived. Lost a lot of pots, but it continued growing upward regardless. This breed is harder to kill than the Terminator. At the 1 year mark, it had shot up so tall that it was beginning to fall over and needed a moss pole, but most pots had died by then. This was when the Basal roots began to show themselves. 5 basal roots exploded from the parent and started growing outward. The parent was too tall and was trimmed down. We were able to collect 4 healthy cuttings from the parent vine, which are now all wrapped in plastic, developing node growth, and showing promise as clones. The parent stalk and the basals are slowly developing new pots, so the entire plant is hanging in a clear plastic bag to create a more humid environment. I've enjoyed the last year of observing this plant and learning how to fine tune its development. Considering I'm now getting 5 plants from one purchase, and I can highly recommend this breed.

The Venus fly trap I received is green with no hint of red. I purchased the “B52” Dionaea Muscipula Cultivar. Can I get a red Venus fly trap please which is what I purchased?  Let me know if you want a photo of the plant please? Thank you, Dominique From Staff: The plant needs to be in direct sunlight for a few months for the red to come out. The plant looks healthy otherwise.
