Dear Michael,

Thanks for your e-mail.  I appreciate that you’re checking to make sure that the plants and I are happy.  Rest assured that the plants got to me very quickly.  They arrived in great shape.  The sundew and the flytraps need to bounce back a little after their trip, but that’s to be expected.  All of the plants are a nice size, and I’m very happy with them.  I’ll leave reviews soon.

I’m sending a photo so you can see them.  This is only a temporary setup for them, as they are going to be planted outside with most of my other carnivorous plants.(One of the flytraps isn’t in the picture because I gave it to my grandson.)

Thanks again,

Joanie

I appreciate you helping me. I’m not trying to get a new plant or anything. I’m just wondering if this is normal and if it will start to sprout new growth, I do keep them outside. Here’s another picture with my other plants some of which I have bought from you. This picture was taken the day that it arrived.

For the most part the plants are fine.  Except for the Sundew.  The Sundew is undefined and quite scrawny in appearance.  I've attached a photo. Perhaps this is the norm, but I think not.  I would not have ordered this if I knew it would look like this.

For the most part, the rest of the plants are fine. Well, live and learn.  Perhaps it will grown and be somewhat visible without need for a magnifying glass.

Thanks, LLoyd

I’m basically into cacti and succulents, but carnivorous plants are catching up, lol! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I went to a flower show and the person selling carnivorous plants there only used some sort of a clay, small pebble like medium, for his plants. I was a little dubious about that and wanted to ask you your opinion. He also said not to leave the butterworts standing in water. Once the distilled water is absorbed, leave them for a few days cause they can get root rot. I would definitely prefer the moss!

Thanks,

Paula

The UK Saw Tooth II I have received have been doing really GREAT under a grow-light as I am doing them indoors. I'm sorry I did not mention but the shipping was fast! These flytraps really do get a vibrant red under good growing conditions and adapted really well when received. Conclusion, these Sawtooth's are great and really healthy. Here's two pictures of the UK Sawtooth II! I'm not even sure if they are really dormant from seeing all the intense growth.

Everything was fantastic. Very healthy and well packed! I have them planted in a large plastic box terrarium placed on a very bright greenhouse bench. The box is covered with cheese cloth to protect from too much light. In a few months I will begin cutting holes in the cheese cloth to let more light through.
