Plant arrived healthy and happy! I live in Mesa, AZ. This time of year, temps are 100+. Ok to leave outside at long as I keep it moist and out of the direct sun? The picture shows it outside under the patio. Plenty of indirect sunlight.

Everything arrived in very good shape.
I will now follow your directions (info included with vft) to plant it.
I had a vft over 20 years ago that was very large and healthy.
Knowing the inherent fragility of carnivorous plants; this specimen eventually died as well.
So since then, and every consecutive vft I purchased, they eventually all died.
Keep in mind, I'm aware of the dormant seasons of the plant; using distilled water only, etc.
In the intervening years, when I was purchasing these traps (trying to recreate the essence of that first, healthy plant) . .
my girlfriend said I was 'Chasing the Traps' (similar to 'Chasing the Dragon' in drugspeak). Trying to reproduce that initial good experience.
I live on the coast in Northern California now; maybe this climate will help reproduce the that first healthy vft experience, maybe not . .
Regardless, the chase continues !

The plant arrived in good condition. I was a little surprised at its size. I thought , since it was a " large " size plant, that it would be bigger. But I may have been over optimistic. So far, it seems to be acclimating. See the attached picture. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a pic of tbe five in there new pots. I am keeping them on the porch in filtered sun until they settle and mature.
